The construction course on renewable energies is organised for those who want to
approach RES applications in buildings; the aim of the course is to provide participants the basic
concepts and a good methodology to analyse the different RES applications in buildings, with an
emphasis on commercially available technology and small-scale plants. The course gives an
overview of renewable energy technology and outlines, the basic principles of solar electricity, solar
water heating, small-scale wind power, micro hydro-power, bio-energy, heat pumps and their
applications for homes, businesses and farms. |
